I’m still alive!

Friday, March 24th, 2017

Just in case anyone’s monitoring this blog, me not updating this blog does not mean I’ve been doing nothing in pinball. Here’s a list of things I’ve been working on and might write more detail on, when I get the time!

  1. Maintenance of my GozMod modification for the AFM
  2. Total renovation of a bust up Monster Bash
  3. Blowing up and repairing my Twilight Zone
  4. Repairing a reset problem on my Tommy
  5. Inserting a PinSound Board into my Tommy
  6. Repairing the Iron Monger on my Iron Man
  7. Repairing and maintaining my Scared Stiff

So it hasn’t been quiet…..

More coming soon….

Michael Bertling RIP

Friday, November 5th, 2010

I read last night on the German Pinball forum (www.flippermarkt.de) that Michael Bertling (aka MiB) passed away.

Michael will not be known to the majority of readers of my blog, but needless to say, he was a big influence on me and my pinball adventures.

For it was “Micha” who helped me in my restoration of my TAF, giving me advice and mixing my paints for my playfield and indeed it is he, who was clear-coating my new IPB playfield. “Take your time Micha”, I remember saying to him, “there’s no rush”.

For it is not expected that someone so young suddenly passes away. Someone, who within the short time that I have known him, impressed me with his kindness, helpfullness, knowledge and above all humour.

He was one of the best and will be sorely missed by everyone in the Pinball community in Germany.

Rest In Peace Micha. It was a pleasure to have known you.
